Sanur village, is a quieter, friendlier version of its posh cousin - Nusa Dua, is a wonderful base for families with young children. Kampung Kecil is very popular with families, before your trip with your little ones, we figured you might want to know what Sanur has to offer in terms of entertainment for your children.
1. Swim at Hyatt Beach
The calm beaches of Sanur, and its warm waters can keep children entertained for hours on end. Bring a bucket for sand castles;
2. Cycle along Sanur Coast
Cycling on Sanur's 10 Kilometer paved path is also another inexpensive and fun way to spend the day, you can rent bicycles from one of the many shops along the beach path for IDR 50.000, and stop at one of the many cafes on the beach for a chocolate milkshake.
During the rainy season, short bursts of showers may hamper your beach plans by an hour or two; A great way to kill a few hours with your little one, is to head to one of the many indoor play areas in Bali.
3. Peekaboo, Sanur

One of Bali's best play areas "Peekaboo" is located only 8 Kilometers from Villa Kampung Kecil. Our driver Bingkas will be happy to give you a lift on a rainy day; Admission rates are free for adults, and children aged 0 - 9 years will have a lovely time on the slides, trampoline, padded gym and playing dress-up.
Admission rate is IDR 100.000 /per child.
Note: Bring a pair of socks for both caregiver and child.
4. Bali Fun World, Sukawati
If you have an older child, Bali Fun World is another fantastic place for a rainy day. This is a local operation which is housed in a huge warehouse, in Sukawati. The journey is about a 25 minute drive from Kampung Kecil - we can arrange a private driver for you for a small fee.
Fun World has something for everyone, with giant inflatable slides, sumo wrestling, a climbing maze, a mechanical bull, a baby gym area, and a challenging five-story climbing wall.
Adults and children alike will enjoy this place, the only downside is it is fan-cooled, and can get rather warm on a hot day.
Admission rate is IDR 48.000 /per person.
